How do you look after a albino hedgehog?

My mum and dad have told me if i can look after a gold fish for a month i can have my own albino hedgehog :D but ... i cant find any where that will tell me about them? i was wondering if i buy a square tank for my one goldfish, will the hedgehog be able to live in there afterwoulds, obvs with straw and all that, i also dont know what they eat, how to look after them .... HELP please :)x
