Why do Republicans support Capitalism?

As a Liberal. I support Capitalism, but the government has to get involved in capitalism. I do not like 100% free and 100% not free. I like 50/50. There are some parts of government that business cannot get involved in and parts of business the government can't get involved in. For example: Businesses should not control the supply of water to the households or fire service or police service, etc. Government should not own industries unless the company is bankrupted or whatever.
