Is there safeguards against terrorest attacking fast foods and killing thousands in a short time?

many times in fast food places we get salt ketchup mustard mayo in packets at a station there, if 1000 terrorest injected packets with poison or a germ i mean large amounts of packets and spread them out on a certain day across the us in thousands of fast food places how long would it take for our goverment to figure this out? i wander everytime i pick up a ketchup pack
